Tom Borchert is an Associate in the Corporate/Governance, Technology, Data Center and Digital Infrastructure Practice groups. Tom focuses on Data Center clients and the broader digital infrastructure sector. He works directly with Data Center operators and critical technology‑oriented companies on commercial, corporate, and regulatory matters.

Prior to joining BSA Legal Group, Tom was an associate attorney at a boutique Washington, D.C. law firm, where he drafted and negotiated specialized technology agreements among technology companies, trade associations, and municipalities. His background also includes significant work in civil litigation, corporate governance, and export controls compliance—experience that is essential for international hardware deployments and Data Center operations.

Tom graduated from American University Washington College of Law in 2022, where he served on the International Law Review and the Moot Court Honor Society. He holds a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Rochester and is admitted to the Maryland Bar.
