Edward Borras is a Senior Associate in the Technology, Data Center and Digital Infrastructure Practice groups, where he works closely with data center developers and operators on a wide range of Energy related commercial, corporate, and operational matters.   He supports our data center clients as they integrate complex energy solutions into their development plans.

Prior to joining BSA Legal Group, Edward served as corporate counsel at several energy companies, including Enel North America, Sprague Energy and KLX, Inc.; advising these businesses on a wide variety of matters. Most Recently, Edward served as in-house counsel to AlphaStruxure, a developer, owner and operator of on-site energy solutions.

Edward possesses a broad foundation across multiple areas of practice, with extensive experience handling complex M&A and finance matters, commercial and operational matters and has experience managing employment and litigation matters as well.

Edward received his J.D. from the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law in 2009 and holds a B.S. from the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he studied Business Administration with a Finance emphasis.

In his free time, Edward enjoys spending time with his young family, swimming, and skiing.  Edward is a member of the State Bar of Texas.
