Matthew Way is an Associate in the Corporate/Governance, Banking and Finance Practice groups where he advises Data Center clients and other digital infrastructure businesses on complex financing and corporate matters.

Prior to joining BSA Legal Group, Matthew practiced as an associate attorney at a regional firm representing financial institutions and developer clients across Ohio and Kentucky. His work focused on sophisticated financing transactions, including construction finance, corporate finance, project finance, and public finance. He has experience advising on senior secured lending transactions, tax‑advantaged and bond‑financed projects, and multi‑layer capital structures supporting commercial real estate and infrastructure development.

In addition to his financing practice, Matthew has advised clients on corporate governance and general real estate matters, providing practical, business‑aligned guidance across a range of operational needs.

Matthew earned his Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration from West Virginia University in 2021. He also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Kentucky.
