Abigail M. Rivera Ríos is the Director of Corporate Governance at BSA Legal Group. She is a member of the Corporate/Governance, Technology, Data Center and Digital Infrastructure Practice groups, where she supports data center clients and other technology‑driven businesses in managing their corporate structures, governance frameworks, and cross‑border transactions. She has substantial experience in entity management, corporate governance, and commercial transactions.

Prior to joining BSA Legal Group, Mrs. Rivera served for six years as Associate Legal Counsel to the Board of Directors of FirstBank Puerto Rico, the second‑largest publicly traded bank on the island. She was appointed Assistant Secretary of the Board for the bank’s subsidiaries, overseeing governance and legal matters related to their corporate structure, as well as securities and corporate compliance.

Mrs. Rivera received her J.D. from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico School of Law in 2015 and holds a B.A. in Social Statistics from the University of Puerto Rico. She is fluent in both Spanish and English.
