Shelley Ott is a Principal in the Technology, Data Center and Digital Infrastructure Practice groups with deep expertise in Data Center and cloud infrastructure matters. She represents U.S. Data Center operators, cloud providers, and software‑driven technology companies, focusing on drafting and negotiating complex technology and commercial transactions with a pragmatic, business‑minded approach.
Shelley most recently served as the sole Corporate Counsel to ByteGrid—a U.S.-based Data Center and cloud services company—where she advised executive leadership and the board through strategic growth initiatives and the company’s eventual sale. During her tenure, she managed a broad portfolio of commercial contracts, facility divestitures, human resources matter, IP issues, litigation, corporate governance, and stringent regulatory compliance obligations specific to Data Center operations.
Shelley received her J.D. from Florida State University College of Law in 2008 and has been licensed since 2011. She holds a B.S. from Vanderbilt University, where she double‑majored in Mathematics and Political Science with a minor in Women’s Studies.
